Unlimited Japanese barbecue restaurant SUMO NIKU is the latest eat-all-you-can offering opened at the City of Firsts. It is located on the second floor of Gateway Mall 2, and can be accessed when passing through Gateway Mall 1 or Farmers Plaza.
Like other eat-all-you-can places, SUMO NIKU’s interior is in a typical barbecue restaurant style that has hanging exhausts, and electric stove for grilling purposes. It is complemented by a warm lighting setup, and wooden walls with animated sumo wrestler wallpapers. To complete its Japanese vibe, SUMO NIKU has a City Pop and anime theme songs playlist, and wall-mounted televisions with animated programs playing while enjoying your Japanese barbecue day with friends or loved ones.
SUMO NIKU features unlimited choices of Gyuniku (beef menu), Butaniku (pork menu), Torimomo (chicken menu), and Shifudo (seafood menu). The restaurant also serves authentic wagyu beef, that’s been known for its marbled appearance, and tender meat. You can also assure that the meats being served fresh as they have a bar at the entrance where the staff prepares your frozen cuts to be grilled.
Apart from their wide selection of meat menu, SUMO NIKU also serves unlimited side dishes including the mozzarella cheese, buttered corn, coleslaw, mashed potato, seaweed, lettuce, kimchi, atchara, and fruit salad.
If you plan to dine at SUMO NIKU, please do note that the customers can only stay at the restaurant for three (3) hours. If you intend to grill your chosen meats at a later time, you may also ask the staff to keep it on their fridge for a while to avoid meat spoilage. Sodas, iced tea, and blue lemonade are also available at the restaurant for only Php 99.00.
