In 2023, Araneta City spilled that a bowling center is underway and will be opening at the Gateway Mall 2. Since then, a large board-up has been covering a huge chunk of the area on the third floor wondering when it will be opening. After a year of waiting, and as a way to welcome August, Paeng’s Gateway Bowl announced that they are now open to the public, and held its soft opening on August 7.
Paeng’s Gateway Bowl is the fourth bowling alley owned and managed by six-time World bowling champion Rafael “Paeng” Nepomuceno. And to grace the soft opening of the new bowling center, Paeng Nepomuceno and Efren “Bata” Reyes held a ceremonial throw and cue together with the executives of Araneta City.
Avid and casual bowlers may now add another bowling place to their list as Paeng’s Gateway Bowl opens lanes to the public. The said bowling center will be open from 10:00 AM until 12:00 MN from Monday to Sunday.
To cater to more guests and groups of bowlers, the bowling center consists of 24 lanes, facing each other side. Apart from bowling alleys, it also has six billiard tables in the corridor of the place for those who are into billiards.
Bowling and billiard rates at Paeng’s Gateway Bowl are as follows:
Monday to Thursday (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) – Php 180.00
Monday to Thursday (5:00 PM to 12:00 MN) – Php 220.00
Friday to Sunday – Php 220.00
All come with a shoe rental of Php 40.00.
Billiard table – Php 350 per hour
Like other Paeng’s bowling centers, the Gateway Bowl will soon be having a food bar where patrons can enjoy their favorite food, drinks, and Magoo’s pizza while having a good time striking the tenpins with friends and loved ones.
