A [food] trip to FooDee Global Concepts stores at the New Gateway Mall 2

Multi-brand and F&B group FooDee Global Concepts is bringing its well-loved restaurants to The New Gateway Mall 2!

To celebrate the opening of their food branches, the food empire organized a tour with content creators, influencers, and members of the media around the restaurants that they opened at the new mall in the City of Firsts.

We joined the exciting food tour to try out their menus and to learn more about each store.

1. Tim Ho Wan

The food tour started at Hong Kong’s Michelin Star dim sum Tim Ho Wan, where the influencers, content creators, and media personalities were treated to the restaurant’s best-selling Prawn Dumplings, Crispy Tofu with pork floss, and their renowned Baked BBQ Pork Buns.

This particular branch is Tim Ho Wan’s 9th store in the Philippines since the brand first opened in the country in 2014.

Tim Ho Wan is located on the Ground Floor, Coliseum Plaza of the New Gateway Mall 2, and is open from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.

2. Hawker Chan

After having some dim sum delight, FooDee Global Concepts treated the guests to a Singaporean feast for lunch by bringing them to Hawker Chan to try the restaurant’s signature soya sauce chicken with fragrant rice.

Here, the COO of FooDee Global Concepts, Eric Dee, revealed that they’ve expanded their menu, and made some tweaks to their dishes to suit the palates of Filipino customers. Some dishes that were served during the food tour were Roasted Duck, Char Siew Pork, Roasted Pork, Tofu with Apple Syrup, Char Kway Teow, and Butchi with peanut sauce as their dessert.

Hawker Chan is located on the Upper Ground-A of the New Gateway Mall 2 and is open from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.

Pound x Flatterie

The group then proceeded to Pound x Flatterie to have an American dining experience in a classier setting. Exclusive at the New Gateway Mall 2, Pound has collaborated with the Philippine Hot Sauce Club in offering six of the country’s spiciest hot sauces that you can match with your buffalo wings.

llaollao

After burning their tongues from the spicy wings challenge, the guests tamed their taste buds by having llaollao frozen yogurt as their dessert.

Llaollao has made its way at the New Gateway Mall 2, offering its patrons and mall-goers a natural, and gluten-free frozen yogurt. The brand also offers an array of fruit choices, froyo sauces, and cookie crunches that you can customize.

One of their most popular choices is their Sanum, a froyo treat that has layers of fresh fruits, your chosen toppings, and a froyo sauce.

Llaollao is located on the Upper Ground-A of Gateway Mall 2, and is open from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 P.M.

Apart from the restaurants that we went through, FooDee Global Concepts will soon open its Kapampangan restaurant Mangan, which is also located at the Upper Ground-A of Gateway Mall 2.

The exclusive tour did not only fill our tummies with sumptuous food, but it also gave us a chance to see the offerings of The New Gateway Mall 2.
